There are different public transport services to move about the city and the metropolitan area: underground, buses, railway system (Rodalies Renfe - Renfe is the Spanish railroad company responsible for carrying passengers and transporting goods-, and Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat -the railway line of the Autonomous Government of Catalonia-) and taxis.
There are different tickets for public transport at reduced fares. Besides, you have the possibility to buy passes valid across the entire Barcelona transport network (Integrated Fare System). This is the best option to save money and time. We recommend it! |
